If there's a man able to cease all the fires and tensions in Mindanao, who can bring together the reds and the whites, who can decongest the busy streets of the metro, and a man who can take the policemen to a yelling proud for absolutely zero crime rate - all these for one day - then, we've got to be talking about People's Champ Manny Pacquiao.

If there's one more thing every Filipino needs to know about this incredible man other than being a fearless warrior from the south who've knocked down the reputation of Mexico, then, that must be Manny's CHARACTER.
Manny Pacquiao has a true Filipino character - a spirit that gets him to the Wealthy City of Fortune and Fame. He has this character that seldom you can come to see with every other Filipino out there -- HUMILITY. It's the humility of Manny that makes him well-liked by many, not of his mighty fists and spectacular moves and deadly punches.

In one of his interviews, he had this disclosure: "I'm not a good singer, but I can sing. I'm not a good boxer, but I can box" - a sincere statement that speaks about his humility.

Not only is Manny Pacquiao a man of humility, but he also is a man of hardwork who never gets out of power to wow the world. I love the sincerity of this man. Seldom you can hear a Filipino proud of his/her true whereabouts; education, family, among others. Seldom you can hear a Filipino who gives back the glory to the Ultimate Creator.

Manny Pacquiao is not only champion by profession, but he's also a real champion by character. I hope that every day, is a battle day. This is not to have a peaceful Philippines for one day but for us Filipinos to get reminded the true winning ingredient to succeed.

Manny Pacquiao - What You Need To Know?

There's more to know about this wonderful creature other than a highly organized insect with a strength capable of carrying foods seven times their own body weight.

Few years back, computer scientists have been fascinated the way in which a colony of ants can solve complex problems; in particular, how it finds the shortest route to a food source.

Each insect in a colony seemed to have its own agenda, and yet the group as a whole appeared to be highly organized. This organization was not achieved under supervision, but through interaction among individuals. This was most apparent in the way in which ants travel to and from a food source. Ants form and maintain a line to their food source by laying a trail of pheromone, i.e. a chemical to which other members of the same species are very sensitive. They deposit a certain amount of pheromone while walking, and each ant prefers to follow a direction rich in pheromone.

This enables the ant colony to quickly find the shortest route. The first ants to returns should normally be those on the shortests route, so this will be the first to be doubly marked by pheromone (once in each direction).

Studying this uncanny skill has enabled researchers to create software agents capable of solving complex IT problems, such as rerouting traffic in a busy communications network.

Eraserheads' Ely Buendia Invades CDO this December 8, 2010

Suzuki's Invasion in Cagayan de Oro City ended up with a blast when Daybreak of Davao wowed the Divisoria Night Cafe's crowd with its exceptionally thundering gigs and kicks.

It was like a night with Eminem and Rihanna, Gloc 9 and Bamboo, Bruno Mars and Eraserheads, all with this band of six coming from down south, who made popular (I think) the latest single "Bisan Pa". It never is usual for Divisoria Night Cafe to have such one of a kind live performances, and thus, the already congested Night Cafe Divisoria got even more crowded when Daybreak Band of Davao starts to take the stage.

That was one of the best performances I've ever seen so far. The vocalists were second to nothing making the whole crowd gone wild. One of the vocalists was a very good rapper, able to mimic the biggest names in rapping industry - Eminem and Gloc 9. If you love the explosive style of Eminem or the powerful speed of Gloc 9, then, Daybreak of Davao has it all for you. The gutsy voice of Jovit Baldivino, along with all the love songs, was also there, putting the Night Cafe at peace as the man serenades the whole shoppers at Divisoria. The short-haired vocalist, on the other hand, also wowed the crowd with its phonate as if you're at the Bamboo concert. If you like Rihanna, then, you'll also like this man; able to bend
his voice to sound exactly the same as that of Rihanna.

Few more interesting things about the band:

The thin-bodied drummer also was superb, who must have been the in-charge of the vibes. The man behind the keyboard also was a boffo, who enjoyed much adding some rhythm. The long-haired and thin lead guitarist also did the job so well, along with the basist who played the subtle role of maintaining the harmony and rhythm.

One thing I like the most about the band is that they never get out of laughs to entertain the crowd. Another thing I like is that you can find the joy in their faces, as expressed in their crafts - a statement that they truly enjoy the profession, which must be the heart of being an artist.

One big responsibility being a performer I think is to get the crowd going while maintaining the atmosphere of free and easy. And for me, the Daybreak of Davao got it all. Surely, this busy group who are regulars Davao's Ihaw Ihaw will soon get THERE!

Keep up the good work, guys!

This uninhabited, secluded, and unspoiled island is a perfect getaway for anyone who wishes to escape the humdrum of city life without having to tear thousands of pesos. Pujada Island's crisp and soothing air surely purifies every visitor while the enthralling sound of turquoise waters that gently touches the shores will surely take every visitor in a relaxing shape. Its beautiful and lush landscape of green blended with a happy blue sky is vividly contrasted by brilliant-white fine sand.

Going into Pujada Island would be a whole lot more exciting experience if you can get into the Puting Ba's (short for “Puting Balas” also known as Putting Bonbon), a 350-450 square meters isle of brilliant-white fine sand stretching at a distance of 50-60 meters from Pujada Island. Unlike the White Island renowned in Camiguin, Puting Ba’s is visible all day long, and that tourists can even stay their overnight and wait for the shy moon feasted by glittering stars to beautifully shine at night. Visitors can propel their way to Puting Ba’swith a paddle and a boat in just 10-20 minutes, where furious big waves awaits every adventurer there making it a perfect destination for windsurfers and skim boarders. From the piers of Mati, Pujada Island is accessible by a pumpboat for about 60-70 minutes (depending on the weather condition). A more convenient option is for you to trip to any of these villages to make it quicker for you to get there: Magum, Catmunan, Supsopon, Casinehan, Wagon, Pangibiran, Tambak, Macambol, Silad, Mamali or Dawan. These villages are just about 40-60 km away from the city proper and can be accessed by a four-wheeled vehicle (if you have your own) or a motorcycle (about 120-200 pesos one-way). Folks living in these villages are warm-hearted and peace-loving Christians by general and would always welcome you with open-arms. Speak to the friendly local pumpboat operators there and ask for a ride, and for sure your Php1,000.00 (or less) would be so enough for round-trip to Pujada Island (and even to its neighboring islets).

Actually this is from Francis Kong reminder when asked who's his bet this upcoming presidential race. And this person got his point, which is very true.

Last night I was able to watch news of purely Maguindanao Massacre-themed stories, the horror in politics and how our government protects those BIG Men. Until Gibo Teodoro came into flash as he personally go into the grieved Mangundadato's house to condole (in which the two are former political rival and belong to separate Party List).

It has really been a habit for the Big Men to hug or make 'beso-beso' on their VIP friends especially during the time when media and ordinary citizen are eyeing on them.

And Gibo once again proved that his sincerity is yet to quarantine as he once again exhibited an act of 'plasticity'. Why so? How'd you call an individual making beso-beso to an individual with an eye roving around the corners of the scene? Kung baga yong may malilikot ang mata while they tap on your back saying hellos? How'd you feel being held tightly but the attention of the ones you've embraced with are directed to someone else? Is the beso-beso they've exhibited truly makes sense?

This is really frustrating culture in Philippine politics. And that's how our politician provide the drama!

Gibo is not actually alone in this kind of syndrome. There are a number actually having this kind of disorder....you just have to notice them...

And these person are not fit to be in public office...

Francis Kong: "Be Careful to These People"

Just recently, so as not to frustrate my friends, I was able to witness a lecture from the country's finest and renowned speaker - Mr. Francis Kong.

Should I want to share everything what he'd shared during that event, I know you'd just give a sneer and say "such an old story" and surf to somewhere else...

But just in case you bump your head and get interested to this self-proclaimed highest-paid lecturer, well he just reminded us the basics on how to win people and succeed in life...but with 'humour' and wit that're fantastically-entertaining.

This thin and chinese-bloodied smart guy is incredibly that amazing as he never get out of words whom he released with proper timing.

As to his formula to have an abundant living, however, he once again gloomed my day as he keep on insisting that one can never be successful without God.

I once again troubled and stared to nothing. At that moment, I gave all divine thoughts a chance to come across my mind...leaving-off all of my old "me" as if I was anew with fresh mind and soul...

But then again, should I want to recognize the existence of the Divine Providence, my mind really keeps on telling me that I will never understand God...but in fairness, I was once again tempted to recognize that my reason has been defeated by the faith as both came into clash...

Again, I was tempted...

Most of those who knew me are aware that I'm a person who hate crowds. I hate celebrations and parties. And worst, I even hate people. Which is why I chose not to go out with my family and friends this past lenten days for divine celebrations and even in church. "I'd rather stay at home!", I said. They then heading up to distant town-renowned sacred place for the so-called self-sacrifice. As expected, I spent my whole two days in my couch and there did nothing but movies movies and movies. My favorite channel got boring. Until I dropped to a National TV Show with Bo Sanchez echoing the "good news". This person truly has an impressive mind. His talks and words are backed with personal experiences. You'll always be stricken to his words making it NOT boring. You can find many soulful resources here courtesy of a father, an entrepreneur, a husband, a leader and a friend.
