The project is called PHP for Android, a server package for Android so you can start building web apps straight from your mobile phone device. The idea here is to turn your Android phone into a web server; you have the Apache as the web server, MySQL as database and PHP as programming language. Think of PHP for Android as PAMP (short for Personal Apache MySQL PHP for Nokia), where you can execute PHP scripts straight from your Symbian s60 device offline. (See my previous post PAMP for Symbian: Turn Your Nokia Symbian s60 Phone Into Web Server for more details).
For download and installation instruction, visit the official site of PHP for Android Project (PFA) and start building dynamic websites right on your Android device.
If you're looking for similar app for iPhone, check out this post: An iPhone-Powered Apache Web Server with PHP. There you can create a simple PHP web app using only your iPhone.
